Simultaneously with IAA trade fair we took part in railway technology trade fair, INNOTRANS, held in Berlin every two years. For many years now, during this Berlin event our business partners like Konvekta, Enersys and Molpír have been presenting their offer for the market of rail vehicles.
On its information stand, Konvekta promoted as a priority its solutions in the area of thermal comfort management - heating / ventilation / air-conditioning in rail vehicles: metro, trams, diesel and electric multiple units, wagons and locomotives. Comprehensive offer for rail vehicles includes air conditioning for driver's and passengers compartments, as well as heaters: front, underseat and input, and heat convectors.
Application of the newest technology - e.g. multi speed installations, ensures high operational safety and reduction of energy consumption. At the same time, the use of new modular systems with individually controlled and adjustable air conditioning components protects against failure, and makes the service quick and easy.
This solutions provide more economical fleet operation for the carriers. Konvekta’s offer dedicated to the railway vehicles is really wide. For passengers compartments on the electric trains, trams and wagons German manufacturer offers several types of HVAC units – series: 54, 64, 74, 84 and 94. Series 34 and 2101 of HWAC are dedicated to the motorman's cab in the railway vehicles. HWAC series 6101 and 8101 can be applicable in the passengers compartments on diesel trains. Although Konvekta did not show its devices on the stand, visitors could see them installed in vehicles presented by our Customers at this year's Innotrans.
Solaris company presented Solaris Tramino, a tram for Olsztyn equipped with Konvekta air conditioning unit, HVAC 6405 intended to passengers' compartments and HVAC 3405, designed for the motorman’s space. Moreover, Konvekta’s solution - an electric air conditioner UL500EM was used in the new electric bus, Solaris Urbino 12.
Pesa Bydgoszcz, on the other hand, promoted its DART train (electric multiple unit) equipped with Konvekta heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system. Presented DART had HVAC 8404, air conditioning, heat convectors and three-door heating, which provide the right traveling comfort to all passengers. HVAC 3407 and the heating Frontbox HZ413 are responsible for maintaining the proper temperature for the driver.
One of the interesting solutions was a train presented by the Croatian company KONCAR, which was also equipped with Konvekta air conditioning.
On Molpír company stand visitors could get familiar with the comprehensive offer of multimedia systems designed for trains. Our another partner, Enersys company, has presented a wide range of batteries intended for all types of railway wagons.
